Backcourt Power With Tour-Level Control

The Astrox 88D Tour is Yonex's doubles-focused powerhouse, built for players who want to dominate from the back court without giving up precision. A head-heavy balance paired with a stiff shaft channels every ounce of swing speed into the shuttle, while the Rotational Generator System redistributes frame weight for smoother transitions between defence and attack. This unstrung version is supplied as a bare frame, letting you choose your own string and tension to match your game.

Key Features

• Head-heavy balance built for explosive smashes and steep back-court attacks
• Stiff shaft with 2G-Namd™ Flex Force graphite for fast snapback and maximum energy transfer
• Rotational Generator System distributes weight through the grip, joint and frame top for smoother swing transitions
• Isometric head shape expands the sweet spot for more consistent, forgiving contact
• Power-Assist Bumper and Aero+ Box Frame combine added top-frame weight with reduced air resistance
• Supplied unstrung, string with your preferred setup within the recommended tension range

Best For

Intermediate to advanced doubles players (also well suited to attacking singles players) who want a genuine back-court weapon with a bit more forgiveness than the flagship 88D Pro. If your game leans on committed smashes and steep attacking clears, this frame rewards that intent.
