Change-of-Mind Returns

Changed your mind? Here's how that works.

30-Day Returns - Racquets, Shuttlecocks & Accessories

We accept change-of-mind returns within 30 days of receiving your order for:

  • Badminton racquets
  • Shuttlecocks
  • Grips and accessories

Items must be unused, in original packaging, and in resalable condition. Return postage for change-of-mind returns is at your cost. To start a return, email hello@skippysports.com.au with your order number and we'll send you a return address. Please don't post anything back before contacting us, as our postal address is a PO box and cannot receive parcels. Once we receive and inspect the return, your refund is processed within 3–5 business days.

Wearables — No Change-of-Mind Returns

For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept change-of-mind returns or exchanges on:

  • Socks
  • Ankle support
  • Knee support

This applies whether or not the item has been opened or worn. It covers change of mind only if a wearable item is faulty, not of acceptable quality, or not as described, your Australian Consumer Law rights apply in full and we will provide a remedy.

If you're unsure about sizing before purchasing any wearable item, please contact us before ordering and we'll help you get it right.

Also Not Eligible for Change-of-Mind Returns

  • Items that have been used or show signs of wear
  • Racquets restrung with custom strings after purchase
  • Requests made outside the 30-day window without prior agreement

These conditions apply to change-of-mind returns only. They do not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Cancellation Policy

If you wish to cancel an order after payment, please note that cancellation fees apply to cover transaction costs charged by payment providers.

Order once shipped cannot be cancelled, you must initiate a change of mind return for the order. Applicable fees will apply.

Cancellation Fees:

  • Domestic card payments: 2% of the total transaction value.
  • International card payments: 4.5% of the total transaction value (includes 3% card fee + 1.5% currency conversion).
  • PayPal payments: 5% processing fee.
  • Zip & AfterPay payments: 10% of the total transaction value + 5% processing fee.

Skippy Sports incurs these fees directly from third-party payment providers and therefore must pass them on for cancelled orders.

We reserve the right to exercise discretion in the event of any disputes.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
